Its a festival that housed a plethora of successful women from around the world under one roof, answering questions about their genres and industries. From Fashion, Food, Music, Technology, Beauty, Advertising, and Publishing there was something for everyone!  Although the women all experienced different successes and failures in their entrepreneurial endeavours there was a common thread that was mentioned by them all, which I've bottled and call the              

"Keys to Beginning a Successful Company"

1. Write the vision down (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

2.  Write down what you are capable of doing based on talents, understanding and know-how.

3.Find a place to begin

4. BEGIN!!!

5.See the vision through, Give it time to grow and mature.

What I left with that day reignited a fight in my soul like no other, I'm one step closer to my dreams, YOU ARE ONE STEP CLOSER TOO.  I trust and know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Here's a challenge.......hold your breath and count to three.....1.....2.....3, and take a moment to look out the window with me, tell me what you see! Do you see a world full of hope and ambition, as the people walk daily trying to envision themselves in a world where we didn't have to work. Yep I said it NO WORK, Don't act like you don't think it every moment your there, pleading with the clock to just let you go, bearing all that you can to just get a glimpse of daylight right before you go home. I must confess that my widow means a bit more, it symbolizes opportunity, blessing with no room to store, it symbolizes freedom, like a set of wings on a caged bird, it ceases all doubt and past words that I've heard. It caresses my hand and tells me that I'm fine, accompanied by HIS DEATH, The HOLY SPIRIT is now mine. The window tells me that when one door closes a window flys open, and despite what my physical eyes are seeing I have to keep hoping, Hoping for more, Hoping for life, and Hoping for inspiration, to be a generational influence for the next generation.

My look for the day is all black everything, my leather jacket is vintage, my chiffon pants are from Alice+Olivia, my blouse is from Ross.
