It's the ROSE colored glasses consumed by the MASSES that has my skirt spinning in the air. With not a care in the world I'm a girl dressed in pearls, spirited by the most High. I'm at the top of my game not concerned with the world's fame, cause my aim, is to make your name famous, blameless is how you stood for me and till this day I appreciate it all, Babylon can and WILL fall, while I'm left singing HALLELUJAH!!

It's inevitable that this world will continue to exist whether or not I'm in it, but I know for a fact that there are no mistakes in the kingdom, life after death is my sole purpose and reason.  So why have I chosen to plead the fifth, with all things that could exist, and that are trying to manifest in my life?  It's my Natural fighting HIS Nature without any real reason at all, made from flesh that trys to overpower my spirit I know exactly what HE's promised me. Its my unleaded faith that consumes his supreme, underestimated by the fact that I'm great. Greater than what I was a month, day, and second ago, I AM VICTORIOUS!

This is one of my looks that is mainly vintage, my blazer, blouse, and hat came from this amazing shop called L Train vintage, my skirt and bow tie are pieces from my line, tights are from Marshalls and Shoes are Tory Burch. My makeup look is super natural the same as the "New Year Lights" post, and the ducks were FREE...lol! Happy Friday!

        WOW it feels really good being back on the blog, I apologize for my absence but I had to get alot of work done the last few weeks, and my time was so divided... BUT I guarantee that in 2015 I'm going ALL the way, and I'm taking the blog with me!!! I've been pushed to be a better blogger, designer, and overall better woman, and like before I want to share it all with you!!
        So I leave you with this.............With each New Year and each New Month, delivering each New Day I sit....  I'm the one watching from the widow waiting, with hope and excitment in my eyes anticipating the "what's next" phrase questioning my mind.  Am I in the RIGHT position, am I on TIME, did I sow enough seeds last year to even try?  How can I compete when I have nothing in mind, is this really for me, or am I wasting MY TIME????? That's when I hear a small still voice from behind whispering in my ear that, "its not your time, it's MINE" the one who created you knows better regardless of what you can physically see, I am the answer to everything that you need, if you need to know the plans for your life just seek me, PROVERBS 3:6 has it written plainly.  I LOVE you TO much to allow you to just be, what I've placed in you is great and it's all that you need, now  what I need from you is just a little bit of belief............just     just      just     BELIEVE!!!

      The Stella Nolasco show was the perfect mix of  statuesque beauty combined with an eye for ethereal fabrication, spoon feed to all the fashion enthusiasts in the audience. An established womenswear designer from Puerto Rico, Stella Nolasco's debut at New York fashion week was nothing but BEAUTIFUL. 
       I can only speak from my point of view when I say that Stella Nolasco's debut had me in awe, from the beautiful goddess braids wrapped in a chignon, to the glass like sequin that appeared on gowns and blouses.  I appreciate that the collection varied from cocktail, evening, to trousers and ball gown skirts which caters to a range of ages.  
       Inspired by the saying “To each Saint, one candle…” Stella Nolasco plays with luxe fabrication woven into reflective metallic sequins that at a distance favored shattered glass, to   sheer delicate laces dyed in saturated hues of blues, salmon, grey, and mint.  The Fabrication wasn't upstaged by the garment silhouettes so it was more appreciated!  Luxe Femininity is what I describe the collection to be, this might be Stella's debut at New York fashion week, but she is by far NO ROOKIE!!! 

Their makeup look embodied a youthful effortlessness, the minimal face paired well with the ultra femininity of the garments, this is a definite go-to for next spring #donebutnotoverdone!!!

Eyebrows, Eyebrows Everywhere, who needs eveybrows...everyone, and not just any eyebrows, but ones that complement your face shape and structure. Eyebrows are so important to our faces, they can age us or cause us to look more youthful.  I've been blessed with alot in life, but naturally full eyebrows was just not one of them, so The Lord blessed me in another way, he taught me how to perfectly fill them in.  I hope this 3 step 3 product guide will enable all of you to be able to master the art of perfect eyebrows, or at least ones that look like mine...lol!  Enjoy!

It's full bloom and I don't have to assume that it's my Father's nature to be on time, it seems like majority of the time I'm forced to stand in line against others.  But it's ok because the humble shall be exalted and my time is coming soon, theres no way it's not with these flowers in full bloom, opportunity is his.  I can't sit around wondering "well, why not", and "what if", I have to just live.  It's the talents that have to make room for themselves I've tried to do it alone and always failed, I've tried to plead with the judge but never made bail, I've tried......and now I think I'm tired of trying, tired of wiping away tears from crying, tired of pretending and denying, I'm tired.  So here is my appeal, Father I need your divine hands to take this wheel called my life, steer me to safety and allow my dreams to catch flight.  You are the potter and I am the clay thanking you for being so careful with me........  The stage has been set and the flowers laid out and this time without a doubt, I'm on my way!!!

Myself and Christian Riley of Chrissyjoystyle.com decided to let our girlie powers activate and collab.  She and I share so many of the same interests, but our strongest thread is Jesus, we attend the same church here in the city, therockchurches.com and we love it.  This shoot was inspired by a ball gown tulle skirt from my couture collection that she adored and paired with her a vintage sequin blouse and leopard pumps (her signature).

My look is similar, I have a blouse that I got at a vintage sale accompanied by a C.Adeola double layered tulle skirt,  paired with my Tory Burch  metallic gold pumps, and topped of with a C.Adeola flower crown (which will also be a DIY coming soon) and my mini Louis Vuitton bowler bag.

Make up:  I also did our faces as well, Christian's face is set with a mixture of Smash Box High Def. Healthy Skin Foundation in "Dark2" mixed with CC Cream by Sephora  I set her foundation with N.Y.C  Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder in "Naturally Beige".  On her eyes I primed them with NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk" and her shadows are from the Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette, her lips are NYX's lipstick in "Sierra", lastly her blush is from the Blush Combo Palette from Coastal Scents.

My Face: I set my skin with my usual powder foundation from sephora (view older posts) highlighted with Laura Mercier illuminating powder, eyeliner and mascara (view older post) my eyeliner is a shadow from my Sigma Palette called "Allure"  blush (view older post), lastly my lips are MAC, in color magenta mixed with the matching gloss.

We're just two Queens in the City!

So for all that don't know this is the month of Harvest Time, when the rain meets the sky and flowers are re-born...... down south that is! But for the rest of the world we're stuck hoping that by the end of May it would warm up so we can put away our jackets and embrace the sun.  I'm ready for that ultimate plunge into SPRINGGGGG, but it seems like it's not ready for me.  It feels like the days that I decide to put on a jacket without sleeves or a dress that's above my knees it wants to rain, or even better drop to the "high 60's".  I'm truly just done, I'm done pretending that cold weather is fun I want to shed some layers, I want the SUNNNNNN, I want to do less laundry for the next few months, I want to have a proper use of my sunglasses, besides being cool!  I want unfiltered vitamin D from the sky to just fall on me like the melodies from heaven........Listen! if you happen to be in Houston, Texas and bump into the sun, please let him know I'm LOOKIN FOR HIM!! #wantedsummerinNYC.
