I'm still counting down to some of my favorite fashion and beauty products, which I mentioned before is called "My Fall Favorites".  So second on my list is one of the most coveted items in hair removal, the  Emjoi eRase e60. 

      This device is an amazing hair remover with 60 tweezer action discs to ensure rapid and non-irritating hair removal from the root for up to 6 weeks.  With precision hair removal technology removing hair from the root it has never been easier or more accurate. Dual opposed heads stretch the skin to help pull the hair from the root.

     I personally started using the  Emjoi eRase e60 and I came across the problem of extreme pain and I consider myself to be pretty tolerable of pain. So I immediatly went to the user manual to read the instructions and figured out a solution, one note I will leave for future purchasers is to read the instructions before operating because that made all the difference in my experience. I know from experience that an open pore is best when removing hair and the easiest way to open a pore is through wetting the skin. So I got into a hot shower and saturated my skin for a bit (which the manual mentions, lol) then I came out towel dried the excess water off of my skin and used the  Emjoi eRase e60 and it worked so much better!! The pain was minimal and the hair was removed, and that was exactly 6 days ago which is a record for me because my hair usually grows back 2 days later, and at this moment I'm still smooth!!

    Overall this product does exactly what it prescribes to do and if you're a hairy person like me I think you should invest in it, no mess from waxing or cream removers just smooth skin, and don't let the winter time stop you, smooth legs are a year round accessory!!

It's the ROSE colored glasses consumed by the MASSES that has my skirt spinning in the air. With not a care in the world I'm a girl dressed in pearls, spirited by the most High. THE COLLECTION

This show overall was one of the most entertaining shows I experienced during fashion week.  It was a compilation of designers that superceeded my expectation.  From the gowns to the coats, cocktail dresses and Avate Garde pieces there was never a dull moment.  One thing that I loved was the variety of models on the runway  it was such a refreshing thing to witness, seeing as how it’s not the norm on most runways.  There was something for every type of girl!


THE BEAUTY BAR

The New York Life beauty look was spring chic, it  embodied all things girly.  The hair was styled in a braided crown that framed the models faces with loose pieces that complimented the all apparent softness of the show.  I was rather impressed by the makeup because it was a neutral look that worked on all of the girls, the same warm tone shades carried a similar message of effortless chic through  out all the skin tones.  New York Life gets the awared for diversity!!!

THE COLLECTION

If I could describe this collection in two words it will have to be, “everyday minimal.”  It was so effortless, from the styling, to the fabric choice, to the color palette, it took me back to a time in  life where things made sense and were simple.  Back when putting on clothes didn’t really have a right or wrong way, a time where cool sneakers and colorful tights were ALWAYS in.  A time where being cool was a lifestyle inherited from your youth #thecoolkids!!

THE BEAUTY BAR

The Ready-to- Fish look as Benny Hancock describes, was based on a clean fresh out of the shower look that still yields a bit of structure which was shown through the contour of the jaw line, filler lines and brow gel were added to strengthen the brows, while the lashes were merged together to finish the eye look.  The lips were achieved with two colors, a nude liner filled in with a pink lipstick. The look is something that was so effortless looking that anyone can re-create it at home!

It's inevitable that this world will continue to exist whether or not I'm in it, but I know for a fact that there are no mistakes in the kingdom, life after death is my sole purpose and reason.  So why have I chosen to plead the fifth, with all things that could exist, and that are trying to manifest in my life?  It's my Natural fighting HIS Nature without any real reason at all, made from flesh that trys to overpower my spirit I know exactly what HE's promised me. Its my unleaded faith that consumes his supreme, underestimated by the fact that I'm great. Greater than what I was a month, day, and second ago, I AM VICTORIOUS!

This is one of my looks that is mainly vintage, my blazer, blouse, and hat came from this amazing shop called L Train vintage, my skirt and bow tie are pieces from my line, tights are from Marshalls and Shoes are Tory Burch. My makeup look is super natural the same as the "New Year Lights" post, and the ducks were FREE...lol! Happy Friday!

This is a man's world, this is a man's world......but trust me, their world can be nothing without a woman's handddddddd.......... not saying it forcefully since some of you can't seem to understand that I AM A LADY! made from the very hands that have crafted my existence ceasing to exist unless you are in it, is a CHOICE not weakness.  We've spent a lifetime in the school for charm trying to learn how to fold our napkins and cross our arms to be seated next to YOU in front of the world.  With portrayal dripping in diamonds and pearlssssssss and in an instant, I wake up from my dream.  Looking around to see who's watching me I cover the hole at the knee of my jeans, I sit up and fix my outward appearance as my eyes gaze off over the clearance to see GOD's rainbow reminding meeeee of who I AM, The great I AM crafted me from the very side of a man named after HIS likeness, said that we should exist together not separately so WHY have we spent all of eternity fighting, it's the age old question un-answered by the masses, "Hey GIRLS move those HIPS, and bounce those asses" is what society believes that we are....... HEY LADIES WHY IS IT THAT, we've come so far, to take ourselves back in time, to a time when we were not even considered a real person. Now we use phrases like "get naked for the gram," Girl I'm tryna get chose and "ooohh whats wrong with her she must ain't got no man" to depict who we are in life.  Now don't get me wrong I LOVE a relationship done holy and right in God's pleasing sight, I just feel like we are losing the best part of who we are and that's a five letter word called.......... WOMAN!!

     Luis Antonio's New York Fashion Week collection was held in the ever buzzing Lincoln Center in the Pavilion. Amongst the crowd of eager fashion goers lined up bloggers, stylists, editors, TV personalities, and A-Lister's alike, all awaiting the collections debut.
     His spring/summer collection is an effortless combination of vibrant colors and bold prints that create a chic and feminine look inspired from nautical colors and motifs. I could tell by the opening look that Luis is a fine artist of "regal luxury",  His collection floated down the runway paired with strappy open-toe heels that wrapped around the ankles ever so delicately.  I adore how he used primary colors to make such a visual impact, linear lines paired well with vertical lines to form perfectly tailored gowns, blouses and skirts.  This collection is the epitome of chic. Luis quotes "I know this is the right moment to share my designs with an international market", and I couldn't agree with you more, BRAVO LUIS, BRAVO!!!

On the first day of Fashion Week my true love yes indeed, I got my ticket and a Kefir smoothieeeee.
On the second day of fashion week my true love yes indeed, I took a Cab to Lincoln center, got my ticket and a Kefir smoothieeeee.
On the third day of fashion week my true love yes indeed I attended Mark and Estel, Luis Antonio, I took a cab to Lincoln Center, got my ticket and a Kefir smoothieeeee.
On the 4th day of fashion week my true love yes indeed I went to Tommy Hilfiger who took me to a 80's Rock concert alongside Anna Wintour, attended Mark and Estel, Luis Antonio, took a cab to Lincoln Center, got my ticket and a Kefir smoothieeeee.
On the 5th day of fashion week my true love yes indeed I went from the runway to real life, did make-up for BruceGlen, got a handful of popcorn, alot of Swaroski crystals, the best gift bag ever, went to Tommy Hilfiger who took me to an 80's rock concert alongside Anna Wintour, attended Mark and Estel, Luis Antonio, took a cab to Lincoln Center, got my ticket and a Kefir smoothieeeee.
On the last day of fashion week my true love yes indeed at J.Mendel I sat in the lap of luxury, went from the runway to real life, did make-up for BruceGlen, got a handful of popcorn, alot of Swarovski Crystals, the best gift bag ever, went to Tommy Hilfiger who took me to an 80's rock concert alongside Anna Wintour, attended Mark and Estel, Luis Antonio, took a cab to Lincoln Center, got my ticket and a Kefir smoothieeeee!!!!!

         The BruceGlen presentation welcomed me with open arms as I exited the elevator, all I needed was one glance of the room and I was immediately taken back to my childhood. With a table covered in sweets and decadence from miniature cupcakes, to twisted lollipops, chocolate waterfalls, cotton candy and a lot of smiling faces.  Even if no clothes showed up to this party I would have been satisfied, but to my surprise down a clear glass staircase came an army of models wrapped in fabric that seemed like it was molded to their bodies.  The looks were a mash up of textures, skins, and layers of fabrication strategically chosen to serve their own purpose.
          BruceGlen's presentation took me on a joy ride through the spirit realm back to earth.  The collection dances in the metallic sun, while drawing its inspiration from the traditional Indian Sari's mixed with the cool streets of New York, giving birth to a new way to add textures and layers to the most chic of wardrobes. And the SHOES, a genius collaboration with Nina Shoes and Swarovski! It was hard trying to pick my favorite look from the presentation, so I'll leave it for you guys to decide, WELCOME TO THE JOYRIDE, Population: EVERYONE!!!!
